@adamdavidson I just read this from Der Spiegel and it convinced me to leave. It's not a social network anymore it's a social experiment and we are the test subjects. I think they nailed it.

Wer will da noch mitmachen?

DER SPIEGEL

@Cliot @adamdavidson "Twitter no longer has any users, only used ones."

This sentence reminds me of how Stallman refers to Facebook users as "useds", because FB is using them, not the other way around. :)

@ticho @Cliot @adamdavidson I mean, if you find yourself quoting Stallman, and especially quoting him on a 21st century matter, you might want to reconsider...
@gcampax @Cliot @adamdavidson Dude, try posting some real argument, instead of an ad-hominem attack. We're not 12 year olds arguing during recess.
@ticho @Cliot @adamdavidson the "real" argument, if you wish, is that Stallman and the FSF are out of touch and fighting 80s problems in 2022. For example, their issue with Twitter is proprietary JS in the client!

@gcampax @Cliot @adamdavidson So, what you are saying is that he is wrong regarding Facebook users? Then just say so, instead of attacking his person or derailing the topic to point to a completely unrelated issue. That's childish.

By the way, I never said whether I agree or disagree with his use of the term "useds", merely that the OP's quoted sentence reminded me of it.
