Speaking of songs that didn't stick in rotation 11/22/92 has the debut of Windham Hell: Fish's little acoustic guitar relaxing ditty that ends up being drowned out by foghorns and traffic.

Of course, the song didn't actually get released under that name. After fears (most likely unfounded; there was a metal band that used that name) that they would be sued by the label, it was called Faht to annoy Jon; it was named after a typo in one of his newsletter stories that pissed him off.

The joke was that everyone else would be, "See, the label made the same mistake!"

Maybe anger over the rename is what inspired everyone do a horrible cannibalistic chant before the 11/22/97 Halley's Comet. Oh, they wanted to hear Destiny Unbound? That's the official story sure, but if you look at the evidence I present in my new podcast...
