Just look at the smooth prickles as slinky tail of our latest #hedgehog visitor…🙃
This #cat has outwitted all previously successful strategies (you may not be able to see it but it’s actually wrapped around a baffle!).
We’ll see what it makes of a tray of water before the entrance tonight (as recommended by https://hedgehogcabin.info/ )

@CM15 We have 2 solutions to the free roaming cat problem here. In front garden the feeder faces the wall with a gap just wide enough for adult hog to access. The second option, in our back garden, is a wooden tunnel with a removable plank of wood for size adjustment.
Both have weights on top & behind. #hedgehogs #OverstrandHogCafe

@NorfolkBea Thank you, I think I was too generous with the gap against the raised bed?! I’ll move it closer tonight then maybe your tunnel or that tray of water at the entrance. Your #hedgehogs look very lucky indeed! 🦔
