Anyone know what type of #rose this is? The label says perfume delight but it has no scent and the buds are small. Plus it’s not a solid pink

@redruby17 Hybrid Tea Rose possibly "Peace"

@bps_artish I was thinking raspberry ice but I’ve never seen one in real life

There is no yellow and the buds are small and clustered

@redruby17 Yes, the trouble is that there are now thousands of hybrid teas and many have been wrongly named over the years so that "Peace" has become a series rather than a specific variety. Difficult to tell without scale, but small clustered buds don't sound like the Peace series. Climber, standard or smaller bush?
@bps_artish smaller bush and absolutely no scent. I chose all of my roses for scent so this one is pretty but I’m a little disappointed
@redruby17 I'm moving towards a Floribunda now rather than a Hybrid Tea (but bear in mind the Hybrid Tea is a Tea/Floribunda cross!) I've had a look at Raspberry Ice online but it looks to have a more open centre, so I'm not really convinced. At the end of the day, its always a gardeners dilemma - do you keep something that doesn't do what you wanted it to do, or say "Sorry" and consign it to the compost heap? πŸ‘Ž
@bps_artish it’s not its fault it doesn’t smell. It’s still beautiful and the bees seem to enjoy it so I’ll keep it
