@nervous_jessica Mastodon is not Twitter, yet the Twitter philophy - one "server" only - is now clashing with the federation principle. Many Twitterati looked for a new home, any Mastodon home, regardless of the local community. Hence the issue will remain for the time being, no matter which server you are on, unless federation is suspended altogether.
