Hello! I'm looking for more alternate history projects (film, tv, novels, plays, games, etc). Examples: Inglorious Basterds, Once Upon a Time in...Hollywood, The Man in the High Castle...

Note: not an alternate version of a fictional world, but actual world events.

I'm particularly interested in counterfactual stories that are emancipatory (so open up possibilities in a freeing way...).

Thank you!

I wrote a book where Ted Bundy shows up and his story goes very differently than it did in reality. It's not as impactful on the overall world as something like Inglorious Basterds or Man in the High Castle, but it was fun.

@joehumphrey Cool. What is your novel titled? And have you seen Once Upon a Time…in Hollywood?

@christydena

It's called Charlie (no relation to Manson, though, oddly, he does come up at a couple of points. It takes place in the 70s) and yes, I did see that movie!

My book is here: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B08X1XJ49R

@joehumphrey Thank you!

Oh, and my second book explains (with complete fiction) who Jack the Ripper was and what happened to Elizabeth Short (The Black Dahlia) so they're KIND of in that wheelhouse, though not exactly what you're asking for.

I guess notorious killers come up a fair bit in this series...
