Today's game is Micro Machines (1991) on #MegaDrive

A game that really inspired the top down racers we have today, this game is an absolute gem.

I remember sinking so many hours with mates playing this, not always racing but just exploring the tracks together.

The single player is still great fun today, I'm determined as I was then to progress as far as possible - but I've never made it to the end!

@retrocolin Oh, this is not the kind of game I expected. It's less about the race and more about beating on the other guy so you can get to the edge of the screen. Keeps it really exciting.
