I've noticed a lot of people who had big accounts on the bird site come across as a lot more human and less concerned about their "brand" while on Mastodon.

This may only be a short-term condition, but I'm still going to enjoy it while it's happening. 😊

@gulovsen Great obseravation.. .they even respond to us mere mortals. I like it.
@gulovsen I thought i'd post much differently but it's mostly just the same stuff with less swearwords

@gulovsen @gulovsen I’ve seen this in smaller communities too. The higher the perceived rank in the community, the more they lean into that rank and less they’re just humans talking to humans.

It’s all very Animal Farm.

@realitythreek @gulovsen This is so true, but in this case the barn is on fire and the social media castes have broken their fourth walls to come gather in collective commiseration, bonding over the hope that our fellow farm animals will somehow all make it out alive.
@gulovsen to me, branding and news reporting are oil and water. You’d never know that on Twitter.
@gulovsen I think I should get a brand.
@gulovsen they may be writing their own material here.
