@gfiorelli1 There are also languages where 280 is far too much. I know there are such differences and I believe Twitter kept it at 140 for Chinese characters. But I’m also for even fewer for English so 280 should be plenty for any language. Cut, cut, cut.
John Morrison@wilander is this a restriction that some servers could impose? I wouldn’t mind that.
@Localcelebrity I thought about it as a custom feature but the real benefit is on the author side. That’s where the important work to cut and reduce needs to happen. If they pick server that can pick limit, no?
