So Boy, Mom and I have all tested positive for covid for the first time. We made it almost 3 years, thanks to homeschooling and consistent masking. But boy now attends the elementary school, and he wavered on his masking after being singled out by students and staff. So far we are all feeling mostly ok with Mom and I increasingly fatigued, but my O2 says are lower than normal, and normal for me is low for most. Time will tell how it works out. Wish us luck.
@justaboydad good luck. I’m just wrapping up Covid myself. Definitely needed to take it easy.
@justaboydad Good luck. Let that be a lesson for him - Be yourself, and don't let anyone push you into doing things you think are wise.
@justaboydad Feel better soon! Remember, Paxlovid for the adults may be an option in the first 5 days if you qualify for it. The fatigue is legit and will likely last longer (weeks) than other symptoms. Please get seen ASAP if your O2 drops below 90.
@justaboydad Had it in Sept. and followed my adult daughter's instructions (based on research). "Aggressive Resting" for 3 weeks does the job. Don't try to push through it. Your body needs every break to get ahead of this virus. I was back to normal after 4-5 weeks. Plan for that!
@justaboydad Oh man, so sorry to hear that. As far as I know, I have not have covid. I hope y'all are on the road to feeling better.
