Pretty sure my greatest career skill that I’ve built and need to continue building is the ability to get past my annoyance and frustration when things get blocked and to be pragmatic about setting a forward course

I wish I was better at that. I am able to work around situations if I understand (some part of) the reasoning. But if it's a purely political block/ someones personal power trip... I just disconnect and let them handle it the way they want.

@fredrikb In some situations, I think the "disconnecting" approach can be the most pragmatic, depending on context/risk/needs of the situation. But definitely feels better to come to that as a considered decision, rather than a kneejerk reaction, in the long run.
