Boiglenoight@Strandjunker this would only matter if the leaders in question could feel shame. In fact that’s the root problem with Republicans right now. They have forsaken shame in a desire to hold onto power and they’ve found it to be a winning strategy.

@Daseinsappeal @Strandjunker I wish that were the case. These leaders are heaped with such from media, moral authorities, and it does little to sway their behavior. Instead they lean into it, attack the attacker, and that builds a certain kind of base of followers to replace the traditional ones we're used to.
