This is Little My, one of the characters from the Moomintroll series. I have two of the illustrated books that I like to read to my daughter. She finds Little My funny (she makes her laugh) but crazy and "evil'.

I have a bad habit of reading stories and trying to keep the "original" pronunciation. With this character, it's is the original Finnish/Swedish /myː/, rather than the English /maɪ/ (or Vietnamese /miː/). Since /y/ (a close fronted rounded vowel) isn't in any of the languages my daughter reads, it is a frustrating experience for her when she tries to repeat it. My fault.
