It's classic billionaire syndrome, they feel ostracized by everyone because they don't trust anyone to like them for anything but their money. He's loving the attention he's getting from everyone on the bird site and they keep feeding the troll. If no one tweeted at Elon or engaged, he'd get bored, and find someplace else to fill the loneliness.
