For me…Walking away from Twitter was a matter of establishing boundaries. I will not subject myself to constant abuse from an abuser/or abusers. I want to remove my power from them, they may not have it anymore.

I reclaim my time.

@krisSacrebleu Yes. I walked away as my small voice of protest against Elon reinstating Trump. I simply will not be a statistic for advertisers on his platform.
@krisSacrebleu I'll likely linger a bit longer on twitter(along with posting,or should I say 'tooting'?😃, on mastodon ) I've posted my mastodon address on my twitter site,will probably wait until more of my followers know where I am before phasing out my twitter account
@krisSacrebleu Are you gone from Twitter? I'm hanging on there for now but starting to spend more time here.
@krisSacrebleu I hate to see you go but fully understand. I will look forward to interacting with you here. I am going to stay yet a while longer on Twitter, I hate to see the platform overtaken by the right.
@MiickeyCox hey there ol friend! I totally get that approach too. I just can’t anymore w those two - it feels like self care to stay away from both of them - I know TFG isn’t active on there yet, but I don’t even want to be on any platform he’s on
@krisSacrebleu Again I understand, and am glad Ican still touch base with you and interact here!!
@krisSacrebleu
Did you delete your history before you left? I'm trying to delete all traces that I was ever there, but I haven't had the time yet to figure out how to delete 13 years of history.
