Steve Scalise was almost assassinated by a Sanders supporter, and Kavanaugh had a would-be murderer at his house. Crazies on both sides try murder, and go to jail.
The problem with #Jan6 is that #Democrats in #Congress have tried to make it out as a secret conspiracy that Trump plotted to have his own VP murdered. The mainstream left has gone more conspiratorial than the Q Anon types in the rotunda.

It seems certain from testimony that the #FBI had confidential informants in the crowd. The saga of Ray Eps is highly suspect, especially since he urged people inside.
In hindsight, we see that the #Gretchen #Whitmore plot was practically organized and led by FBI personnel entrapping unsavory simpletons. The January 6th circus had better not have had similar FBI involvement.
