Dustin GreenwaltThe US needs to better fund Amtrak and make high speed travel happen. Riding trains is fun. It's relaxing. It's cheap. There's food, electricity, and sometimes wifi. But it's way slower than some of my rides in Europe. A better Amtrak is possible.
Lo@DAGreenwalt definitely agree. Acela is great, but it needs to be more often and all over the country. A better Amtrak (and US commute generally) is possible. If I want hop on a train on a weekend to go to Philly from NY it should be easy.
