@chiefboner most of us leave after high school but before having kids. Which in my case left little time for escape  
Love the topography and climate 🌞 ❄️ 🌄 🌲 🍃 🐟 🦉 💦 🍂
Struggle with the lack of human diversity and oppressively religious nature of public life. But i have nearly all my family within an hour's drive and my kids and 3 grandbeans within minutes. So, i stay and i nurture and facilitate the #community of #humankind that i have available within reach

@whatzaname yeah, I left for almost 20 years and traveled the world. I also found out that the great big world is not satanic and evil, but surprisingly pretty nice. It's definitely an adjustment coming back.

@chiefboner i think if i moved away i would stay away... of course i won't ever move unless my kids had decided to leave after all. And who knows? I have a female, progressive representatives in my state legislature for the first time in my life!
