Just had a bowl of the stew and I must say I’m pleased with it. It’s the 1st time I’ve made a stew rather than a soup, & I’ve never cooked w/lamb before, so I’m quite proud of the results.
Amusingly, the lemon juice not only cut the over-salting but left it needing salt, though it’s savoury enough without it. I like leaving salting up to the eater anyways, so it’s all good.
Made enough to put ~ 1.5l down for later & a good meal’s worth frozen for my pal that takes me shopping. I like sharing.
