Are there any articles, videos etc showing that intelligence isn't a legitimate metric for anything useful?

Furthermore are there any resources showing that autism and aspergers aren't split any more or shouldn't be and that 'high' and 'low' functioning are bad ways of looking at looking at neuro- diversity/divergence and helpful to nobody?

Thank you!

@arisingvoice This is an article that includes a lot but you can skip down to #8 in the contents, they talk about Autism vs Asp*rg*rs and how autism is broken into autism and HFA (high function autism) in the DSM-5 and ICD-11, which just became operational this year (the ICD-10 still has Asp*g*rs in it) but the PDM-2 disagrees and finds that it is premature and not nuanced enough to remove it. If I understood it correctly. That said, this article doesn’t disprove anything unfortunately but it does show that they aren’t split anymore.
This also isn’t what you’re asking for exactly, but this breaks down the diagnostic criteria in the DSM-5, which is helpful in seeing how what it does and doesn’t tie in for “intelligence” and functioning and what parts of it are ableist and how to interpret it. https://embrace-autism.com/decoding-autism-in-the-dsm-5/
I think I have some more things tucked away somewhere, I’ll try and look for them later!

The diagnostic criteria for autism of the DSM-5 can be confusing, ableist, and pathology-based. Let me explain what they are, and help you make sense of them.

The Psychodynamic Diagnostic Manual is a diagnostic manual grounded in psychodynamic clinical models and theories. What does it have to say about autism?
