@BusterNutz77 @kokirimuscle @fastred @nathan now that you've made me consider those examples, perhaps I'll include a content warning if/when I post any of those things, just in case. I do disclose in my profile i'm a dog lover, so anyone with a fear of a picture of a dog might know not to follow me in that example. i have seen ppl include CW for dog pics. just in case. the content wrapper concept is a good one. it's nice that people here consider others.

1.5) Subjectivity is involved in choosing to use the CW AND in what will be triggering to others.
1.75) The CW feature reduces the chances of being exposed to triggering material, but won’t eliminate it due to 1.5.
2) If you belong to a #mastodon instance you must follow their rules (or go create your own)
3) There are other ways to filter content you do not wish to see.
