Well, toops (right noun?), here's what I'd never twit on the birdsite. I’m looking for a #choir to join in #Vancouver or the Fraser Valley. Any advice is welcome! Bit of a thread…

I gave up performing opera when my ex & I started living together 3 years after getting married. Some of y’all know why. It’s my greatest regret.

Been testing the voice for a while, & it’s all still there. Have to rebuild some flexibility &c., but my real challenge will be “fit.” #music 1/4

@GiffordJames I’ve been there. I stepped away from professional opera as my marriage was failing. I’m so glad to see you reaching out to find new opportunities. Best of luck. I wish I was in Vancouver to be of more help.

@robertames I’m hopeful! It’s been a comfort to find the voice is still there & functional. A tendency to allow it to be bit too covered in the upper end if I’m not paying attention & needing some grease for the passaggio (perennial bugbears for me…) but nonetheless ready to unpack & limber up. (just sang through Sarastro at the piano this morning)
