I'm taking two $50 Dell Chromebook 11's and seeing what I can do with them.
Currently I'm running crouton to get Ubuntu on one. It would be a miracle if I could get it to run #Kismet - i don't think I can but I'm sure gonna try

Any suggestions for a tonka-trucky-Chromebook?

@dnsprincess If you want something with swappable battery/flash/ram/wifi and a sata slot, the Lenovo x131e runs SeaBIOS just fine. Older hardware though.

Most of my tinkering with Chromebooks is not making them chromebooks, but something else entirely, so YMMV.
