alt_bierN00b question: What are the pros and cons one should consider about the mastodon server they choose to call home?
I know many of my friends are on infosec related servers. But since I'm not strictly interested in just infosec I didn't think that would be the right home for me.
When I saw the defcon.social invite open up I went with that since I trust them to do the server right.
Just wondering what others based thier choice on.
