Das frag ich mich auch immer wieder.
Serviceinträge im DNS und nen Mailserver zieht man mit etwas Übung in ner Kaffeepause auf und hat ein dezentrales Netzwerk.
Ähnlich bei XMPP/Jabber, die Kaffeepause ist dann halt etwas länger.

@zuglufttier @waweic @wuffel und vor allem hat Matrix eine große Firma dahinter, die relativ viel Budget für PR hat... bei XMPP sind es nur eine Handvoll kleinere Firmen bzw agieren die halt eher im b2b Bereich, ohne große PR...
