@ZurichCrowCollective Great photo! I love crows. I sometimes feed the family of crows that hangs around our neighborhood. I will record their sounds sometimes- they will sit on the roof or a tree by my office and “talk” for a while. My first encounter was years ago watching an adult crow and juvenile feeding in the rain from a little bird seed I left out on a platform.

@mursey So many people are scared of crows but if you witness a tender moment like you did, you realise they're incredible birds. I wish more people would realise this

@ZurichCrowCollective yes, I liked crows to begin with, luckily my parents raised me to be kind to animals and think about them, but I hadn’t seen up close activity like that before. I read a few books about them when I was young. My mom lives in Arizona and she used to feed a raven but she says sadly she does not see it anymore . I saw that particular Raven once while visiting, it was magnificent!

@mursey You're so lucky. I've never seen a raven before. I like all corvids. I wish more parents would tell their children not to chase birds in the city but sadly, you normally see parents teaching their children how to do it

@ZurichCrowCollective I will share photos of my Mom’s Raven friend when I get some. I had a neighbor once who would use air horns to chase away crows. In a small condo area, waking everyone up !

@kejlymm That looks like a rook - and a very cute one at that. We have these living at the back of my flat but I see them so rarely. They are experts at hiding 😀

@Cognac She's quite assertive. I think her wing (and a bad foot) are a result of fighting. She might be slightly immobile but no one pushes her around

@maddramaqueen She's a very special crow and I think she's been through a lot. She has a damaged wing and a deformed foot, both probably from fighting. I always look out for her
