Just as a few people asked after my last post: this is the lovely Rotring Art Pen.
I'm still posting from my covid sickbed, so not the nicest photos, I know, haha! But who needs good backgrounds when we can stare at stationary? ❤️
I love a full dip pen, but the art pen acts like a fountain pen. Cartridge-filled. It's super convenient for on-the-go (or sickbed) drawing with no fear of spilled ink! And it feels lovely to use.

@Emmavieceli Ahhh I have one of those :D With a 1.5mm chisel nib though, for my blackletter calligraphy ^.^
@Curator oooh, lovely! They feel nice in the hand, eh? I'd love to play with calligraphy ^_^
@Emmavieceli Yeah! I mostly use Pilot Parallels and I have a parallel at the same nib size, but I keep the Rotring with black ink in it for convenience ^.^ https://jakerainis.com/blog/learning-blackletter-alphabets/ this is what got me started with calligraphy!

@Curator ooh, thanks for that! I'll take a look. ^_^ love me some stationary chat!

@Emmavieceli :D :D

The Pilot Parallels are great if you want to get into chisel nib calligraphy - they're pretty affordable and you can refill the ink cartridges :D And you can hack them to do fun things - https://jakerainis.com/blog/pilot-parallel-hacking-the-unofficial-parallel-owners-guide/

@Emmavieceli ooh pretty, what sort of cartridges does it take? (Sorry I'm a massive pen nerd)

@littlewitch never apologise for being a pen nerd ^_^

I've just been using bog standard fountain pen cartridges, to be honest. Nothing fancy at all, but it means they're very easy to get. I should check whether there are specialist cartridges at that size available!

@Emmavieceli it's cool that it's versatile. I used to use Lamys a lot but I found it awkward to get cartridges in the colours that I write in. So now I like Twsbi's and bottled ink but it can get messy 🙈
