Good morning! Happy Sunday! I’ll be taking it easy myself. This I took with a very long lens while standing far away to ensure no disturbance and I cropped the image.
@wildlifewocha gorgeous! I just shared a post about #conservationcommitted you might find interesting - it's a concept I developed a while back, aimed at helping photographers show their commitments to photographing wildlife responsibly, by using a simple hashtag when posting ☺️
@sussex_sara Hi Sara I did read that. It is a good idea. I like to know from a photographer taking shots of birds and animals who are particularly vulnerable what exactly they did to get their image safely, relevant to the subject and context. Is there a way of getting a long hashtag abbreviated or easy to type?
@wildlifewocha Definitely agree that highlighting best practice should be part of sharing wildlife images. I use a very long range lens so it's easy for people to think I'm getting closer to wildlife than I actually am!
The hashtag has been used on other platforms for a while now so think it's best used as is but I tend to keep a copy and paste doc of my most frequently used hashtags which can be useful
