@KeithMoon if you’re following them, you should be able to see them on your feed regardless of their server.
I’ve definitely found using Metatext much more natural to use and help navigate.

@KeithMoon also, there are 3 types of feed you can view.
I think it goes as follows (but don’t quote me on this)
Home: Those on same server as you
Local: Those you follow (any server)
Federated: Public posts from across many users/servers

@KeithMoon that’s using the Metatext app for iPhone.
On Mastodon though, if you go to the magnifying glass 🔍 at the bottom to explore, that takes you to options like Community (which is for the server we’re on)

I guess I’m a visual learner! could prob start at min 4:00 (he spends the first few min on choosing an instance). I found it easier to explore on the webUI first to get my bearings, and then try the ph app. Pers I found the official app kind of confusing but really like Metatext for iOS. keep at it! 💕https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=6Jzw2ZkQkOA
