The rat exterminator man visited; an extrovert fellow who turned out, like me, to be a rodent enthusiast. I suppose all true hunters respect their quarry. We ended up waking the gerbils to discuss the similarities and differences. The biggest difference is that rats drink a lot of water, which is the main reason they have to leave buildings regularly. But, like gerbils, they love to carve smooth entranceways. This is where you lay your poison foam. I’d think I’d enjoy his job. #rats #gerbils
