I want to remind all of you that a social network is only as powerful as its network effect.

And what is a network effect? The people who use the service.

A diminished network effect means Trump power on social media is also diminished.

Sure, his supporters will show up. They might even claim victory.

But it will be a pyrrhic victory if everyone who opposes Trump leaves Twitter.

I'd like to remind everyone who's minimizing Trump's account re-instatement that he was initially elected as President because people underestimated him, dismissed him as a joke, a novelty.

Dismiss Trump coming back to Twitter, and you're doing the same thing.
