So, who’s gonna be the first to write a piece on how THE MENU is a really smart satire on social media?

Or has someone already done that?

***SPOILERS***

* Finance bros bragging about their improprieties but shocked at consequences.

* Tyler thrilled to be showing a stranger (Margot) who doesn’t love him something she doesn’t care about; constantly taking photos to brag; can talk the talk but has no skills.

* Critics forced to face with the results of their cruel words.

* A legitimate talent turned megalomaniac thanks to the creepy devotion of his followers, whose Achilles Heel is nostalgia.

* Rich people who keep coming back not because they love the food or even appreciate it (“cod?”) but because they like the feeling of being special (Twitter Blue).

* A formerly famous person desperately trying to claw back to relevancy by making a lazy attempt to mimic the work of others, and his assistant / lover who was only using him as a stepping stone.

Vapidness, shallowness, insincerity, insecurity, masked by a $1250 tab + the certainty that everyone will be wowed by your story after.

Margot’s lie about her upbringing mirroring Chef’s mentioning of two very different childhoods / on the internet no one knows you’re a dog… ok shutting up now.
