@batteredoldbook I've quite fancied doing light painting but can imagine standing out there waving about for hours getting it right. Think I'll wait for summer.

It was really, really, cold and I wasn't expecting to be out there so long!!!!

Magical stuff though... his teacher pulled off an amazing human figure painted with light!

@batteredoldbook I've seen some really good ones which only serve to make me realise how much effort would need to be put into it.
Still, we all have to start somewhere. I'm sure we've all done it without realising with sparklers !

Yes, ofc, sparklers.

I'm sure you could put a tonne of effort in, but even the simple things about the effect are cool... the way that night becomes magically day, and human figures or limbs blur away into nothing, a very etherial look. Like making a snow-angel by flapping your arms!
