So if you’re on another Mastodon server, it looks like if you’re part of hamband Twitter, it makes sense to switch to Shakedown.social. This puts all all peers on your home server timeline.

From there you can narrow and view just who your follow or broaden and view people from other servers, etc.

But if you’re on Mastodon.cloud or Mastodon.social, your local server will be a clusterfuck.

@chopaganda do you happen to know if there's a way to migrate from another server with all of one's posts intact? most documentation says no, but some say it's "technically possible" if you're in charge of the server... which sounds rather manual.
