And a very happy weekend to you all. You know before I became a #kidlit author I mostly wrote horror (bit of a switch). It's been a while since I wrote a ything like that but I've had an idea pop in that's rekindled the flame. It got me think; how many of you write across different genres? Or do you just stick to one?

@Queen Fantastic. It's a fun journey. Have you had any ideas on stories?
@jbangellauthor Yes! I kept a travel diary a few years ago just for myself, but as there are 66000 words sitting there it seems a shame not to make use of them!
@Queen That is an excellent source to work from. Real life experiences are the best teachers we can have as writers.
@jbangellauthor I'm amazed to find two local writers here this morning, neither of whom I was aware of. It seems that Gnsy Arts are promoting visual arts and music but no writers. Would you be interested in meeting other writers?
@Queen Two in one morning is great. You're the first one I've found. I think a meet up would be great. There's a surprising amount of writers locally but like you say, we seem to left by the wayside a bit. Certainly by Gnsy Arts. Guilles-Alles are very supportive of course. We could do with a voice locally though. I think being able to meet up with other local authors would be a lot of fun.
