it's chilly this morning in #westwales, has that 'biting at the fingertips' vibe to it. are we all keeping ourselves snug?

i'm planning on wrapping up warmly and going to a local hardware store to see if they have some bits n bobs to add to my slowly growing toolkit.

been whittling away at my first spoon, which is made of Holly. it's quite a hard wood, so i'm thinking of trying a smaller one in a softer wood to give myself a faster, easier leg-up while i'm getting started.
