@thrick It is adaptable via extensions which is good but I think that it's too heavy by default and those extensions don't help in that matter. If you don't use a non-modern computer it can be a problem.

I used Gnome for years and found it quick. Then I switched to Xfce and found out that it was not that quick. In the end, none of them were suitable for my old PCs and ditched all DEs to embrace the WMs world where I am now.
