@Akhenatobi thanks. But our contribution has been around (a) debunking falsehoods, (b) trolling propagandists and (c) loudly supporting Ukraine. How do we do (a)&(b) now ? Or should we evolve our function?
@kropotkin wherever immediate concerns arise, we should be posted in enough places and based globally to help any way we can, I agree. As of nowā¦ I think most bonking would be the bird place and if it tanks, it goes to Ch 11 and someone who knows what theyāre doing will be running it, but it should always have some #Fellas keeping watch for sure. People need to feel like theyāre not surrounded by authoritarian jerks everywhere.
@kropotkin evolving your function is really valuable during this change initiative and always, for that matter. Coming to Mastodon and doing messaging among each other is important; and if an engagement needs to occur at bird placeā¦ then & only then but not a constant for tesla guyā¦ it NEEDS to tankā¦ it absolutely should. There are literally ppl traumatized by that place.

cheems@kropotkin I would suggest going where the disinfo has the most reach. If the Russian embassies go to Gab/Facebook/something and have 50k followers, thatās where you hit themā not a Mastodon instance with 2k total users. I see nafo.uk as more of an organizational tool than anything else
@cheems good point. Though youāre not isolated on nafo.uk, you are communicating with me sitting on mastodon.social, another instance of the protocol. Also Iād loathe to have to use FB again but will do for a good cause.
