Scott LaMountain@KELLYWEILL just wondering as a journalist how you update different platforms. Do you continue to do twitter and copy/paste to mastodon? I’m new here and not quite sure what to expect or if worth continuing on here. At least until the alternative is no more.
@scottie I've been writing largely different posts. Mastodon allows for more creative formatting than Twitter so I've been using that when promoting my work. I've also been using Mastodon for more casual/personal talk (it feels like the place, maybe because it's smaller rn). But I think everyone's figuring out their own way forward!
@KELLYWEILL thanks, and agreed. For me, it doesn’t fill the twitter void - though it may over time. Twitter, for all it’s faults, makes it easy to find contributors. They find you sometimes. Mastodon is less cliquey.
