JB@chopaganda And if android is your thing, Tusky seems to be a client that most resembles a Twitter timeline.. also much easier to move around to follow as opposed to the various versions of mastodon apps

This allows you to flip easily between:
- your feed of those you follow (think friends and follows from Twitter)
- all the banter on the local server for when you feel like it
- the Federated feed for discovering good content from other servers

@Footiusmaximus @Neddyo Understanding and using the 3 feeds seems to be key to the whole experience — at least in my 48 hours on this site.
I don’t think anyone truly understands what Mastodon should or will become, and it’s not going to takeoff fully until something really bad happens to Twitter. But there’s certainly a lot of promise of this doing all the things we go to Twitter for—only without the evil.

Like a different account if I am want to hangout with the activists, and another to hang with the journos/writers?
(That's probably better than the bird where non-jamband people got all my show posts and Phish peeps got my political rantings. Though some are cool with both)
