@notfunnyelle My problem w/ the "stealth likes" of Mastedon is they positively _bury_ community support for marginalized/emerging ideas & sentiments in an unmarked grave of obscurity. Sure, whispering your "like" in one person's ear makes you & them feel good for a second but does nothing to promote the good idea. I'll say it: Visible likes w/ counts _amplify_ a 100 good ideas for every one pile-on of trolls or haters. I don't see how hiding consensus helps _anyone_, honestly.
