@hilzoy here in Perth we had 13 days above 40°C this past long oppressive summer that was 2.8°C above the long term average. This included seperate runs of 4 and 5 days. It seemed like the heat would never end. Luckily we are setup for the heat heat but the country side was so parched. Other places won't be so lucky
