Richard MurphyHunt has just claimed in the BBC that because inflation will be gone by end 2023 the mortgage cost crisis will be over, but the OBR is forecasting bank base rates of 4% or more to 2027 meaning mortgage rates will exceed 5% until then. He really should tell the truth.
