Interesting read though I did find some of his claims when still at #twitter to be hmm not accurate with what I was seeing in the data I was grabbing from their API. Well after they "shutdown bots" responsible for slurs there was still large amounts from many many accounts. #riptwitter #followfriday #spacekaren

For a couple of weeks, I hit the #twitter API endpoints using #powershell but building up in-memory over 300k tweets monitoring the usage of 3 different slurs in tweets then aggregating the data and pasting the results into excel so I could visualize it with a bunch of power pivot stuff. Can you tell when Elon took over??? It seems that twitter was not going to be a safe place in the future #riptwitter

@dustinfinn for the raw data (while it still works) their playground was amazing to try queries and as I found, you could grab the bearer token for the requests and then use it outside of it. I imagine violated a eula or something but at this point I don't think many care 🤣 (and you don't have to signup to use the api, just authorize it when you hit run) the twit devs built a cool thing! https://oauth-playground.glitch.me/?id=tweetsRecentSearch
