I suppose I should do an "intro" post since I'm settling into this new site. My name is Guy. I currently live in Texas (born and raised) though I moved away for about 20 years. And now I'm back. And boy, has it changed since Ive been away. Then again, so has the world in the last few years.
I work as a journalist and a morning show host at a local radio station, which is fine, but I'm not exactly a morning person. But I've kept at it! In this photo is Frodo Waggins, one of my three dogs.(MORE)
I started my career in the video game industry. I eventually moved to San Diego to continue, then Los Angeles to start a career in TV/Film. I later moved to Las Vegas where I was quite happy in the entertainment biz.
Then I moved to Florida, which wrapped up quickly. So I moved back to Texas.
I do news reporting, and video and radio work. I love #movies (worked at a Blockbuster in the 1990s). I like all types of movies, but #TheMutantFam of #TheLastDriveIn was a great Twitter find. (MORE)
For personal interests, I like building #Lego, #comics (Spider-Man, Superman, Batman), video games, (Pac-Man, Legend of Zelda, etc), #80s and #90s pop culture, my three dogs, animal rescue care, acting, writing, #film study, critique, and research, #photography and #travel.
I've been a few great places from the Caribbean to Burning Man, so experience varies. Otherwise, I'm pretty open about myself, met a lot of great people, and enjoy having adventures.
