So many of the design choices in this #pokemon game are so baffling. Why go out of your way to make the sound of rain falling when you’re under a tin roof different than a wood roof but then don’t even bother animating eating a delicious sandwich???
I can’t stress this enough, the Switch hardware is not built for this kinda game, the pop-in is so bad 😩

Ben@demarko it’s not the hardware; look at what BotW or Xenoblade 3 did… or heck, even Arceus Legends.
This is just a really poorly optimized piece of software, which is a bummer.
@sangster just feels like a bad move putting out such an unoptimized game for the flagship game in the series which also is known to sell consoles?

kim@demarko I've seen some people say that they've had a much better experience with the game running from the console built in storage vs sd card. This is a rough release regardless! Sad for my pokemon friends.
