Fans of the remarkable Susan Cooper classic, “The Dark is Rising” have a real treat in store: BBC radio drama is set to start in a month. Script was adapted by a True Fan of the novel and it promises to be excellent. Here’s link to 6-minute promo. When they sing the “The Dark is Rising” poem at the end I literally got scalp-prickles. @Kayray I've actually never read the whole series... I read Dark is Rising at least a few dozen times growing up, and got the whole series box set as an adult, but have only circled back to read Over Sea Under Stone.. I feel like this is encouragement to rectify that gap!

@jaymerryfield honestly, imho The Dark is Rising is by far the best, followed by Greenwitch and Grey King. OSUS is my least-favorite. I think I only read SotT once, and I don’t remember a damn thing
