This Twitter fiasco is a reminder of who is *actually* critical to the survival of our economy & society.

Twitter worked before the billionaire got here. Now that workers are gone, Twitter is collapsing. Workers made Twitter work—a billionaire broke it.

Workers > Billionaires

@QasimRashid It's a typical example of organizational rot. New management comes in to "trim the fat", top talent sees the writing on the wall and leaves, everyone else who can follows, and those who are left are the least productive workers who actually can't leave. Musk is working his ass off right not to convince a few of the thousands who left to come back because even HE knows he can't keep Twitter running on his own.
@QasimRashid The funny part about this, too, is the fact that these people actually exemplify what the conservatives venerating Musk's inherently destructive approach claim to believe in: people succeeding and being able to make it in life because they worked hard and made the right decisions They're actually living the American Dream and instead of celebrating, these people bitch and moan and call them elitists for being successful. What a joke.
