I give twitter two weeks until it collapses into a nonfunctioning mess. A massive data breach will likely occur within 4 weeks.

“I know of six critical systems (like ‘serving tweets’ levels of critical) which no longer have any engineers,” a former employee said. "There is no longer even a skeleton crew manning the system. It will continue to coast until it runs into something, and then it will stop.”

Hundreds said to have opted to leave Twitter over Musk ultimatum

The number of likely departures prompted Musk to ease his return-to-office edict and managers to meet to decide which engineers to ask back.

The Washington Post

Not in my wildest dreams would I have thought that Musk would burn down the entire #twitter operation to the ground in less than a month. This is spectacular.

If you continue to fund whatever Musk does next, well…you deserve to lose all your money.

@drahardja I think he's suffering from product blindness and feature creep. He sees a problem and finds a solution. Now those engineers who worked on the last problem can move on to a new problem. What do you mean we don't have any new problems to solve? What are they doing then? Gotta get rid of them, wasted space!

This is a man who runs a car company and a rocket company. Those have physical representations that he can conceptualize. Tweet go brrrrrr doesn't seem to compute for him.

@abby Too generous, IMO.

I think he’s incompetent. And he’s drunk on his own popularity on twitter. He is no longer able to regulate the dopamine-driven highs he gets when he tweets something that gets 10k likes in 30 seconds.

He’s a petulant child, addicted to candy, who just bought a candy factory. He can’t stop eating the candy while barking orders to change the factory to make more of the candy he likes.

@drahardja
I worry about the staff who he is treating appallingly
@drahardja craziest thing is that he’s tweeting jokes about it - is he in denial of the problem or just bonkers? Spend $44bn rather than get therapy…
