I was lucky enough to win one of the 32 SANS Cyber Academy scholarships in 2015. The academy was residential, lasted 8 weeks, and was held at the St David's hotel.

So, although I only live about 5 miles away in Llandaff, I spent August and September 2015 in a room with that view.

Whilst I was there, the Wales Euro 2016 soccer squad used the hotel as a base and I shared a lift with Gareth Bale ❤️
